Congratulations to our friends at Northallerton 10K for putting on a fantastic event
A huge well done to everyone who took on Northallerton 10K on 24th May. Who'd have thought there would be a heat wave just in time for a bank holiday?
The race is a firm favourite for BAR and our very own Wyatt Robinson-Hill finished 4th overall a fabulous achievement. And 20 runners from the club took on the challenge of the Northallerton Course.
Now, the organising team at Northallerton have been extremely generous with their time in providing guidance for our forthcoming Bedale Bolt. And if we can put on an event nearly as well, then we will be very happy.

Introducing our Race Starter
We are thrilled to announce that Ruth Hansom will be the official race starter for the Hansom Bedale Bolt on 14th June.
Ruth is an award-winning chef who opened her restaurant Hansom in 2024 here in Bedale. You may have seen her recently on TV with James Martin.
Ruth will also be on hand to give out some trophies at the end of the race, so make sure you hang around to celebrate the achievement of all our runners.

North Yorkshire Council & Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity reception
Bedale & Aiskew Runners (BAR) were proud to be invited the North Yorkshire Council & Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity reception on Friday 24th April 2026, an evening celebrating the handover of the designated charity.
Every race entry will raise vital funds for YAA our charity partner for the Hansom Bedale Bolt.
